Jessica Simpson may be enjoying the dating rounds, but her recent alleged hookup with Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner was "just for publicity," a source tells RadarOnline.com.

"Jeremy has actually been dating a New York-based blonde who isn't Jessica on and off for the past few months," the source revealed.
