Peter Lopez, the husband of Dukes of Hazard star Catherine Bach, died instantly according to his death certificate obtained by RadarOnline.com.
The entertainment lawyer shot himself in the head at the couple's San Fernando Valley home in April.

His death certificate officially lists "suicide" as the manner of death and confirms that Lopez passed away instantly.

Lopez pointed a gun at his head and pulled the trigger. The bullet went through his brain," a source from the Los Angeles Coroner's Office revealed to RadarOnline.com.
He killed himself in the backyard and left a one page suicide note also.

In one of the stories it says gunshot woundS Not wound. How does somebody shoot theirself in the head and live to shoot again? (hopefully this was just a typo)
