Their nine year marriage has been plagued by infidelity, but David Boreanaz and his wife Jamie Bergman looked like they were on their honeymoon at Beverly Hills restaurant Villa Blanca on Thursday afternoon.

“If he’s trying to make it up to her for the cheating, he picked a great restaurant. It’s so romantic there,” an eyewitness tells Radaronline.com.“They were holding hands on the table, laughing, gazing into each other’s eyes. It was like nothing happened!”

Despite the recent avalanche of allegations dogging David and Jamie, neither was at a loss for words. “They were chatting the whole time, but it didn’t look like they were talking about anything  that serious.

“He was obviously making jokes because she kept giggling and at one point she playfully swatted his shoulder and covered her face, like she was embarrassed. Then they both laughed. They looked more in love than ever, and they were having a grand old time.”

Neither the Bones actor nor his Playboy model wife drank alcohol, and both feasted heartily on cheese burgers. “David had ketchup on his cheek and Jamie wiped it off, and then  he planted a quick smooch on her. They finished their burgers within about 40 minutes, but they stayed at the restaurant for an hour and a half, just chatting and laughing.

“There were times though it looked like the tone got heavier. Jamie was looking down for about five minutes and wouldn’t look up at him, but some how he managed to break the tension.”

In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Jamie’s mom, Sue, said her daughter  was trying to make it work with her wayward husband, explaining, “My daughter is in  love with him and always has been.”

But that doesn’t mean she’s making it easy for him. In an interview with  People magazine Bergman  confessed that she’s “still angry” with Boreanaz and shared that the couple have been  in couples therapy working through their issues for the past year.

They have two children together, Jaden 8, and Bella, 8 months.
