Just in time for Mother's Day weekend, Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel went into early labor on Friday, RadarOnline.com has learned.

A source close to her husband Jason Hoppy confirmed the news. Frankel's anticipated due date was a few weeks away.
It is the first child for the couple who were married in March.

Earlier in the day, the fiery brunette posted a Twitter message to her fans saying: "Thanks so much everyone. your messages were so thoughtful and sweet. I read every one. I love you guys."
Frankel will next be seen in her reality show spin-off Bethenny Gets Married.

She is my favorite on Housewives of NYC. She works hard and says what she thinks. I wish her and the baby the BEST. Luann is the jerk of that show. She kept Jill away frm her friend, Bethenny, and hurt both of them.
