Barbara Walters is out of surgery and “recovering as expected,” RadarOnline.com has confirmed.
A rep for The View host said the “surgery went well and the doctors are very pleased with the outcome. Miss Walters is recovering as expected.”

Walters, 80, had one of her heart valves replaced, a procedure she discussed on The View Monday.

My son and my boyfriend have BOTH had this surg! Both had the mechanical valve put in. It makes a noise you can hear if you stand close to them!
