Update On Bret Michaels' Condition Slated For Tuesday

An update on ailing rocker Bret Michaels' condition is expected to be given on Tuesday, according to his Facebook and Twitter page.

"There will be a press conference on Tuesday at which doctors who have been treating Bret will further explain his condition, treatment and prognosis.
"Location and time of the press conference will be released Friday," the statement read.

Michaels, 47, is still suffering the effects from a brain hemorrhage. He is suffering from slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness as a result of the bleeding at the base of his brain stem.

Does anyone know if he was able to finish his stint on The Apprentice? I don't know if the show is taped ahead of time but it really doesn't matter as his health comes first.

Just checked The Apprentice web site and apparently the show was still in progress when Bret took well. Unfortunately he won't finish it but he is still a winner in my book. Thanks NBC for the tribute to Bret last week.

I pray that the news will be good concerning Brett. I know he will have a long road ahead to recovery but if anyone can do it, Brets the one that can. Keep on smiling Brett & keep that sense of humor and you'll be fine.

Let's hope for good news but I agree, he should at least take the summer OFF. This was MAJOR! Why push him into something more. It's clear his body needs to REST, not perform. His real fans will understand.

I totally agree and I think Brett is smart enough to know when it's time to rest and if there ever was a time to rest, it's now and concentrate on getting better. His fans will always be there for him I'm sure.

I hope he gets better. Who does that with their fingers anymore!! Let's get with the times. He is getting to old to be still acting like he is in his 20's!

my problem is with his promoters, they r already talking concert?? what?!! lets just get him better k, thats what really matters right now AND they r pushing itunes on his site because of increased traffic. kinda messed up.

I totally agree! Also that letter from "Pete"...I was a little offended by how he kept reminding us that he was one of the ones closest to Bret. Like the rest of us couldn't care as much or as if he were reminding us he's part of the "in crowd".
