Katie Holmes will portray Jackie Kennedy in an eight-hour mini-series based on the Kennedys that will air on the History channel.

This will be the network’s first scripted miniseries. Greg Kinnear will play President John F. Kennedy and Barry Pepper will portray Attorney General Robert Kennedy.

tom cruise paid somebody(s) off big time, the way i see it, she is a lousy actress, can't even look at her few films, she is sloppy all the time, and has no class whatsoever. jackie is turning in her grave. i won''t justify it by watching it. no way.

I think Katie will surprise everyone. She's a good actress. Left alone from a dominating husband who doesn't dare want to be upstaged by his child bride. I hope she breaks out with this role. Tom Cruise & David Miscarriage will have a fit.

Why take the worst actress ever and give her this? These two women haven't got anything alike. One is well put together and the other looks like she slept under a bridge! Is the producer of the film a Scientologist?

I cannot think of anyone worse for the part of Jackie! Jackie was classy, intelligent and fashionable! Katie is a rag bag that is driven by anything Tom tells her she has to believe it. Her child is dirty and sucks a bottle at 4. UGH
