Before Rielle Hunter shot to fame as John Edwards’ mistress and mother of his illegitimate daughter, she was seeking fame and fortune of a whole different kind.
Rielle was a game show contestant years before she began her much publicized affair with the disgraced ex-Presidential hopeful and you can watch the exclusive footage here on RadarOnline.com.

Hunter was a contestant on the Game Show Network’s show, Lingo, which filmed on November 22, 2002 and first aired on GSN on January 7, 2003.
Rielle was on the show with her friend Patricia. In the introduction Rielle says she’s “from Florida” and describes herself as “a writer.” She later goes on to share that her interests are “yoga” and that she loves to “chant and let it go.”

Rielle and Patricia beat their competitors to make it to the finale but missed out on the grand prize, bagging instead a whopping $500 between the two of them.
Around four years later Rielle would begin her torrid affair with married Senator Edwards, which resulted in the birth of their daughter Frances, the end of his marriage to his cancer stricken wife, Elizabeth, and his political aspirations and career shattered irreparably.

Saw her on Oprah. She really likes to spin things so it makes her affair seem justified. She's in great denial. One minute she's saying she abhors dishonesty but isn't hiding an affair dishonest? She sees herself as a blameless victim.
