EXCLUSIVE VIDEO INTERVIEW: Kate Gosselin Says She's "Stronger and Wiser," Isn't Losing Weight On "Dancing"

Kate Gosselin took a break from her busy dancing schedule on Thursday to promote her new shows at the TLC Upfront presentation in Los Angeles where she reflected on her year, dished on her dancing weight loss and even took at turn being a RadarOnline.com reporter!
“Can you tell me what it’s like to work for RadarOnline.com?” Kate joked as she commandeered the microphone.

Kate and Jon’s lawyers were been back in court this week battling over Jon’s claims that he should have full custody of their eight children and she spoke about her feelings over his attempted legal maneuvers. “I’m just sad that they have to go through the public wringers because of all things I felt like Jon and I worked that out very peacefully and I hate that it’s come to this really.”

One of the well known perks of being a contestant on Dancing With the Stars has always been the amazing weight loss the dancers have. But not poor Kate. She’s not losing any weight. “Cause I’m eating more, I’m hungry. It stinks. They said I would lose 15 pounds and I’m like sign me up -- hasn’t happened.”
Kate spoke about what she’s learned in the last year after going through her public divorce, ending her show Jon & Kate Plus 8 and becoming a single mom.

“Wow,” Kate said as she reflected on the year. “I would like to think that I’ve become stronger and maybe a little bit wiser. I’ve definitely learned to think before I speak and to change my tone of voice a little bit and be a little more sensitive to those around me. Remembering that I have a busy life and a busy schedule and I’m tired and stressed but people around me do too.”
What do her kids think about the new stronger and wiser mom? “They say I’m the best mommy in the whole world all the time,” Kate gushed.

Kate is excited for her new show to air on TLC and for the kids to return to television to. “Twist of Kate is in response basically to the letters we’ve gotten from moms, women, men whoever they are and I get to meet them, walk a little bit in their shoes see what they do for a living, see the struggles that they face, the hurdles they over come. Get to know them, put a face to the letters which is going to be really fun.”

Maybe the next interviewer to get Kate on their show will start asking some of the hard questions her handlers don't want asked or answered. That would make interesting tv.. uh, for the kids, that is my story.

@ RURAL MOM: If you are from W'ville, you would know a LOT more about the REAL KHATE. There must be more people that have run into the DIVA herself and are able to tell a truer story than the tabloids :)

Pretty much anything that is negative on this site is based on FACT that KHATE has, herself, confirmed one way or another through interviews that SHE has given.........

The blogger was hauled away by Steve when she asked Kate about the child labor laws affecting filming of Kate plus Eight. It was a disasterous book signing.

Read on Gosselin 15 Minutes Style blog that ROL was at book signing last night, but so few fans showed up they likely won't post it here, go read this blog for first hand account of what happened.
