“I want you guys to know,” Leah says on our video blog, “that even though I seem like a complete witch in the show…I was just confused.  I didn’t really know what I wanted because I wanted the normal teenage life back, but I realize I couldn’t have that.”

The challenges that Leah faces on a daily basis are far more difficult than any of the other stars of 16 and Pregnant. She was not only the mother of one child; she gave birth to twins—and lives on her own!

“Right now I’m currently not living with my mom either,” the former West Virginia cheerleader says, “I have my own place. It’s just me and the girls right now… I have two kids to take care of. And it made life ten times harder.”

Leah, who barely knew baby daddy Corey, would like to make things work even though they are having relationship issues. “I didn’t really want to lose Corey… Maybe Corey will come back home with us. I don’t really know.”

She went on to say “After we get past the hurt and everything else, I think we can pull through. And bring our family together and work things out. I really want that --more than anything.”

In the beginning Leah wasn’t realistic about having a baby, “I thought that once I had babies, oh I could go back to my slim size. And go on about life and be able to hang out with my friends...But I thought that everything could just be normal again.”

Leah’s 17 now and she has set many goals for her future. She wants to a nurse, and hopes one day to be a family again with Corey and her twins Aliannah Hope and Aleeah Grace.

16 and Pregnant airs on MTV at 10 p.m. ET Tuesday.

I thought, I thought, I thought. At least Leah is a little more mature about her situation. I Wish her luck

Social assistance is a tool used to get people back on their feet. If it is being used to better he life and those of the children fine, it is those who are generational habitual users that give Welfare a bad name.

IT seems like Leah went in this pregnancy with all the wisdom one could expect from a 16 year old. What she needs is continued support and guidence, I can only wish her and the twins well.

You are a welfare queen. And will be for years to come. Admit it. If you weren't white people would hurl vitriol at you. But now they want to 'wish you well' and tell you to 'keep up the good work'. Start by closing your legs.

would u rather support 2 kids on welfare and give them a shot at life or support abortion and just kill them.

What a nasty comment! In Germany and whole Europe it's normal that young mothers are sustained by welfare and Kindergeld (child allowance) is normal too. What's about your christianity?

Hey Leah, you are doing a great job being a mom to your beautiful daughters. You are a strong, young lady and I really wish you all the best. Hug that mother of yours, you are lucky to have her!
