EXCLUSIVE: Tiger Woods & Wife: Battle Over Kids Brewing

A battle over the children is brewing between Tiger Woods and his wife.
The struggling couple has been leading separate lives and attempts to repair the marriage are not going well. As RadarOnline.com reported exclusively, Elin was visited last week by a divorce lawyer she hired.
A big issue that now looms between Tiger and Elin is their children and they are already at odds. Elin plans to spend more time in her native Sweden and of course expects the children to be with her.
But Tiger does not want to go long periods without seeing his children – regardless of the status of his marriage.

“There’s conflict between Tiger and Elin,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “And Elin doesn’t just give in and do what Tiger wants. She’s become very independent.”
That independence has led to Elin taking three trips without Tiger in recent weeks, with a four trip soon to follow.

And Tiger and Elin have already started sharing custody. He took the children on vacation this week, with Elin flying to Arizona by herself. When Elin traveled to South Florida for the Sony tennis tournament, she took one child and left one home with Tiger.
But Elin is going to want to take the children to Sweden with her, the source tells RadarOnline.com. And that’s where the custody battle will get heated.

During his golf comeback press conference, Tiger expressed how much he missed his children while in rehab and lamented missing his son’s first birthday. He seemed fiercely determined not to miss out of his children’s lives.
“Whatever anyone thinks of Tiger, he loves his children,” the source said. “You can’t criticize him as a parent at all.”

Custody, more than money, is likely to be the most discussed issue if a Tiger-Elin divorce occurs, RadarOnline.com learned.
“Things have changed between Tiger and Elin. She has shown a lot of independence,” the source said. “She has gotten a lot tougher. But they both love their children.”

Where are all the critics when a mother is the cheater? It seems that they still get custody, child support and often alimony. At least in the not so high profile or highly publisized cases. Woman always fined a way to blame Dad for the indescretion.

This confirms that they are definitely getting a divorce. The dynamics of their marriage have totally changed with her being the one in control.
The kids put her in a position of power and she's going to take every advantage of that.

How is it that people keep saying Tiger is a horrible parent yet Elin, who is supposed to care about her kids more than anything, leaves her kids with Tiger? His daughter especially always clings to him. Bad husband but great father.

Tiger should let those kids go with the skank. At least we would not have to see her picture no more. she is trying to seek fame off of his expense. sweden is a poor country. look at the run down houses over there the bronx look better than that.

What an ignorant comment !!! Really stupid stupid... I live in Europe and Sweden is one of the most wealthiest countries in the world. People live much better there. Leave Elin alone she married an immoral pig that's it.

America is great because it is diverse. It would be cruel to move those children to a country where no one looks like them. Any person of color can tell you how isolating it would feel to not have one person who is your ethnicity.

The father always gets the bad rap for everything.Tiger is going to pay so much child support and I'm sure Elin will get alimony as well. I feel the system is always in favor with the mother. It's not fair!!!

Yes Tulip - Elin has a strong family support group - Tiger only has his Mom - definitely the kids will be better adjusted with more time spent with Elin's family

The best thing a father can do for his kids is love their mother! The kids don't care about the money or the planes, and lovely homes- they would rather have a Dad who hugs them , reads to them and plays with them - but Tiger prefers porn stars.

Tigers kids are American citizen,if Tiger ask the highest court not to grant Elin to take them to Sweden she cann't do it.If she does she can be charge kidnapping.Tiger keep your kid in the US soil don't let her get away with this.
