As new details surrounding the investigation into the death of Monica Beresford-Redman come to light, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that her husband Bruce Beresford-Redman (who is currently a suspect) has been having an affair, according to her sister. Carla Burgos also claims that Monica recently learned about the infidelity.
“I know he was having an affair,” Burgos told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “And she found out.”
The couple had been staying at the Moon Palace resort in Cancun when Monica was reported missing after allegedly not returning from a shopping trip on Monday. Her body was found in a sewer at the resort on Thursday morning.
"They never fought. I mean there were arguments but they never got physical," Carla added. "I’m in shock. I never would have expected this to happen, not from him."
Despite her initial reservations, Carla has come to the conclusion that Bruce- who has not been charged with a crime but is being questioned by investigators- did murder her sister. “I’m sure now. There were witnesses who heard someone screaming and calling for help.[Bruce] also has scratches on his arm."
Beresford-Redman worked on the hit CBS show Survivor, winning three Emmys during his tenure. He also produced Pimp My Ride and The Restaurant. Monica was the owner of Zabumba Bar & Restaurant in Venice, Calif., a Brazilian eatery.

Also, Bruce hasn't worked for Mark Burnett Productions (Survivor) since 2005. MBP is the producer of the Palin project and Bruce hasn't worked for that company for over 5 years.

I know Bruce. I've worked with him in the past. We're not close friends but he's a good guy. Try hard to reserve your judgement. Innocent until proven guilty is the American way.

the husband has been released but is still under suspicion....I hope if he did it they don't let him get away with it.

Why would you boycott Discovery. I'm sure they didn't ask him to kill his wife. I don't care for Sarah Palin but I think that's reaching at the very least.

society, wake up. men have been killing their wives for decades. It shouldnt take a celebrity to make people see the stats on Violence Against Women. Why is anyone shocked?

This is the same guy who is producing Discovery's Sarah Palin's Alaska. So now she's palling around with terrorists AND murder suspects!

Hmmm ... wonder who he was having an affair with? Someone attractive that he was working closely with maybe?
