EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Dr. Drew Says Lindsay Lohan Should Be Arrested & Then Sent To Rehab

While Lindsay Lohan continues to party until the wee hours of the morning, and her family and friends grow increasingly concerned for her, Dr. Drew Pinsky, who is not treating Lohan, has some candid advice for the people closest to her.

The board certified addiction specialist tells RadarOnline.com, "If she were my daughter, I would pack her car full with illegal substances, send her on her way, call the police, and make sure she was arrested. I would make sure she was not allowed to get out of jail. I would then go to the judge and make sure she was ordered to a minimum of a three year sobriety program."

Dr. Drew says it's highly unlikely that Lindsay will recognize she has a problem and go to rehab of her own accord, "I would say it's less than a 1% chance of her making the decision to go to rehab. I have said this many times before, I believe that Lindsay will make a wonderful sober person, someday, if she survives this. I absolutely wish no harm to her, but I just have a feeling that something awful is going to happen to her, like she is going to lose a limb. I hope Lindsay gets help before something terrible happens."

Dr. Drew warns that if those around her are planning an intervention, "Interventions do work, and have a 90% success rate, it's not 100% though."

Dr. Drew says he would be more than willing to help the troubled actress, either in a private or public setting.

Dr. Drew is only giving his professional opinion, he does after all do this for a living. It doesn't take a genius to know this is going to end very badly if she doesn't get help. The family should step up and help her before it is too late.

The end does not justify the means. Planting evidence, filing false police reports, etc. are crimes. I hope his fans don't take this advice seriously.

Normally I'd agree with you but allowing your child to kill herself is the greater crime, IMHO. If she's doing the drugs, why shouldn't she be caught and forced into rehab via jail?
