Actor Neal McDonough Refuses To Do Sex Scene – Off Show

Call Neal McDonough the anti-Tiger: the TV actor recently gave up his part on the new ABC show Scoundrels just three days into filming, because the script called for him to be in a sex scene -- something the married Catholic father-of-three has made clear he won't do, RadarOnline.com has learned.
McDonough -- a talented 44-year-old actor who has appeared in projects like Band of Brothers, Desperate Housewives, Boomtown and Medical Investigation -- has steadfastly refused to do sex scenes of any kind throughout his career.
The Scoundrels script called for him to be in a sex scene with sultry actress Virginia Madsen, and leaving the show might have cost himself up to a cool $1 million.
ABC has called the split a “casting change.”
Said an insider: "It has cost him jobs, but the man is sticking to his principles.”

Kudo's to him! This is what is wrong with Hollywood, too much emphasis placed on sex. Put a stand in man ho to do the scene. I'm proud of him for thinking of his morals and not what's in his pants.

He always had access to the script it would not of taken three days into filming for him to know he was going to be doing a sex scene- He just thought he was a big enough star for them to rewrite it-- NOT!

Oh, the irony! No one is fazed anymore when another tale of porn stars and extra marital affairs
surfaces....but when a man with boundaries and morals speaks up, something's wrong with him. We're rotting from the inside out!

Does Neal suffer from 'tinymeat'?

You have one sick mind lady! Why would you even think of such a thing? I'm proud of him for standing up for his values.

I find it refreshing he is sticking to his principals on this one. While playing a villain is one thing, a sex scene is a whole different. I think it has to do with HIS morals not whether he is Catholic or not. By the way.. I'm one too.

i agree. portraying a villain doesn't require the very physical act involved in a sex scene. but don't try telling a hater that. they'll never get it.
