Move over, Tina Fey: Sarah Palin was the star of The Tonight Show Tuesday, as the former vice presidential nominee showed America her comedic side, and RadarOnline.com has you covered on all of her antics.
Palin, the beauty queen-turned-Alaska governor, did a Jay Leno-style monologue in which she poked fun at herself and others in the political spectrum.
Sarah Palin Tells Oprah Levi’s Still Part Of The Family
"Thank you, Jay. Thank you. I'm so happy to get to be here. This is a thrill of ... a lifetime really," Palin said. "And Alaska, being so different from Los Angeles. Here, when people have a frozen look on their face, I find out it's Botox.
"It is so beautiful here, though, so warm and beautiful -- back home, ooh, it was freezing. It was five degrees below Congress' approval rating," she said, clearly winning over the studio audience. "Shaun White on the show. Oh, what an amazing athlete. I watched him do a double McTwist 1260, and the only other people to do a double McTwist 1260 was last week: the White House on health care."

Palin did engage in some serious banter with Leno, claiming that the media has crossed the line when reporting on lives of her children.
"I'm still waiting for that line to be uncrossed," Palin said. "Just [show] some common decency, allowing the kids to not be the -- I guess kind of a victim in all this, because they certainly don't deserve it. I have very strong, independent, well-adjusted kids, and I so respected that the media had left other politicians' kids alone.
"I would just ask for the same treatment," she said.

Leno has stacked his first week back with an impressive roster of guests, including Chelsea Handler, Avril Lavigne and the cast of Jersey Shore on Wednesday; Matthew McConaughey and Jason Reitman slated for Thursday; and Morgan Freeman and Meredith Viera set to appear Friday.
The Tonight Show airs weeknights on NBC at 11:35/10:35c.

I like Sarah Palin and voted for John McCain over Obama but after I saw her in action politically I'm very glad she didn't make it to the White House. I think she has a great personality, good looking, so she should do a talk show.

Glad you now see why the rest of the country thinks she's the laughing stock of politics. I agree with you tho..she does have personality and is pretty. She would do great on a carefully scripted Fox news show or Rush hate raido show.

I would not call appearing on a talk show "antics" or any other of her business affairs. Also when you refer to Diane Sawyer, do you call her a former beauty queen? or do you call Katie Couric, a former cheerleader?

The difference is Diane Sawyer and Katie Couric are very intelligent and inspiring women. They offer a lot to the world. Sarah Palin is a clueless mouth piece who only knows how to inspire some hard, extreme right fanatics.

TO CJ, you might consider following independent, trust worthy polling organizations. Gallup has Obama at 52%......better than Regan's 40% ****://****.gallup.com/home.aspx

Sarah would be good at a show like Hannity, but she would not be a good president or vice president; so many people make fun of this woman; it would be a nightmare. Think of all the fun SNL would have if she was our president.

Exactly!! She would only be able to follow a script written by someone on Fox news. Everyone makes fun of her because she's so ignorant of the world around her. What's so sad is that she and the GOP are proud of that.

Well, Obama needs two teleprompters to go talk to a room of sixth graders.

And Sarah needs to write notes on her hand when she's talking to her own "tea party" people.

Just because people like her personality doesn't mean she would make a good President. Sarah just doesn't have it. Hiliary Clinton is more qualified.
