Sandra Bullock completed her awards season fairy tale by picking up the Academy Award for Best Actress on Sunday night for her work in The Blind Side- a day after picking up the Razzie Award for Worst Actress.

Mixing heartfelt emotion and gratitude with her trademark humor, Bullock charmed the crowd as she took time to honor her fellow nominees including Meryl Streep whom she dubbed "such a good kisser."

After some other laugh-inducing moments (like calling out George Clooney for throwing her in a pool years ago...she later said backstage that Tom Cruise was also involved!), Bullock held back tears as she thanked her own mother Helga.

So where will she keep her Oscar? Right next to her Razzie! "They're gonna sit side by side. It's the great equalizer, nothing ever let's me get too fill of myself," she added backstage. "It chops me off at the knees."

Loved the fact that Sandra won. Loved her speech and I think Jesse did too. He was completely teared up when she finished up. CONGRATS Sandra Bullock!!!!

Sandy, as George Lopez calls her, IS a true CLASS ACT in every aspect!!!!! She looked at pointed & nodded to her husband, Jesse James!!!! Soooooo happy 4 Sandy & her Fam &&&& sweet Cinnabun, too!!!!!! BACHEEKS!!!!!!!!

jesse didnt stand with her during the interviews nor did she mention his name in the acceptance speech. did the academy say he could go but limited what she could say about him? Something was really weird about how was excluded from everything

Well, she did point him out in the audience & thanked her mom for being a trailblazer that allowed her to have the Oscar and "that" (Jesse). IMO she meant she picked out a good man due to her mom's tutelage.

Sandy's speech was so GREAT. I found myself teary-eyed when she thanked her beloved late mom who was such a dynamic woman and laughing at what she said about Meryl Streep.."her lover" lOL!

What an amazing speech and so heartfelt! Here's an example of two married celebs who hold their family near and dear and keep their kids out of the public eye as much as possible. She's a STAR!!!!
