No surprise here. She really THINKS she's great... but she's not. Her comedy sucked. Her role in precious was well done but probably a one hit wonder.

What is the thought on Samuel L. Jackson making a face when Mo'Nique said what she did in her acceptance speech??

Mo'Nique looked fabulous, beautiful dress & color (you guys wrong saying she was a 'worst,' lol). BTW dress & flower in her hair were to honor Oscar winner Hattie McDaniel. And how great that she selected which reporters could ask questions.

Good point about honoring Hattie McDaniels. Flower could also have been to honor Dorothy Dandridge who was never nominated for an Oscar, but did pioneer non-stereotypical roles for Black women in film.

Dorothy Dandridge was nominated for the Academy award for Best Actress in 1955 for Carmen Jones becoming only the third african american to do so at that time after Hattie McDaniels and Ethel Waters.
