Mickey Mantle's Drag Queen Nephew Steps Up To The Plate In New Musical

Meet Kelly Mantle.
Kelly is the nephew of baseball Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle, RadarOnline.com has learned, and the star of the new stage show, The Confusion of My Illusion. In it, Kelly dresses in full drag in his quest to "confuse, illuminate and advance the ongoing drive for equality."

The multi-talented Mantle is, according to his Web site, an "Actor, Comedian, Singer, Songwriter, Musician, Raconteur, Writer and Activist."

My father was friends with Mickey Mantle and his family attended barbecues at our home in the early 60's. His son took a stick and mixed our aquarium and most of the fish died. Those kids where hellions I remember..

Actually, from what I understand, Mickey was very proud of Kelly and integral in Kelly discovering her gender identity. Kelly tells some interesting stories in the show that describe his uncle's support and love.
