Martha Stewart Pulled Her Hair Out Over Ex-Husband, Says Pal

Martha Stewart’s former best friend who testified against her and helped send her to prison is releasing a tell-all book, and RadarOnline.com has the juicy details.
Mariana Pasternak, who was Martha’s best friend for 20 years, is talking for the first time about the high profile insider trading trial, Martha’s divorce and the women’s two decade long relationship.

In her new memoir, The Best Of Friends: Martha and Me, Pasternak reveals how Martha pulled her hair out to deal with her divorce from ex husband Andy Stewart. The book details Martha’s tirades against Andy. At one point she yelled at him, "Take off your coat! I just paid six hundred dollars for that coat. You are ruining it already."
And Mariana says when finding love Martha "could be as naive as a little girl with men."
For 20 years the women were inseparable. In an excerpt on the Good Morning America website, it describes the moment the two met when Mariana was having a party in Westport, Connecticut:
"Hi," she said with willful cheerfulness. "I'm Martha. Your neighbor. Thought I might stop for a glass of water before biking up the hill to my house."
I invited her to sit down with us, but she declined. I called out, "Everyone, this is our neighbor, Martha," then went inside to get her some water”
Mariana says they traveled together many times. In fact, the domestic diva would send Mariana a bill with interest. It was on one of those famous trips to Mexico that Martha and Mariana talked about insider trading.

Mariana hasn’t talked to Martha since the trial and says she doesn’t find any reason to talk to her now. However, she says, she’s happy Martha is back on TV where she belongs.
The book: The Best Of Friends: Martha and Me came out Tuesday.

It must be so hard when you are famous, to get close to people or find friends, because of situations like this where they betray you later on. I can see why a lot of the rich and famous keep their distance and are cautious around others.

No matter what Martha went through, a TRUE friend (even ex-friend) would NEVER write a book and sell out a friend for money. It says volumes what kind of person this so called friend really is, doing this to try to hurt Martha, is pathetic!

A good person would NEVER do this. Martha spent her time in prison already and now this so called person wants to stir up Martha's past life to hurt her? I hope Martha has a legal right to stop her or sue her for distress.

Martha i watch your cooking show everyday and i have learned alot from you-your a amazing women to have gone though all you have with a husband and friends turning there backs on you, but you got the last laugh because you came back stronger

No wonder Martha is so stand of-this friend of hers had it all wrong- best friends are suppose to be someone that has your back not stab you in the back- I hope her book sells 0000000 books-No one should ever call a snake like this a friend

i don't care how mean or controlling martha is. if they were friends for 20 years, martha was good to her, otherwise the woman wouldn't have been friends w/ her. despicable! i'd be mean too if the people closest to me did this!

martha IS one mad, angry CONROLLING WITCH!!!!!! kate/hate G. IS just like martha!!!!!!!! Poor 8 children & now those poor Doggies, too!!!! Thank goodness, JON was able to LEAVE!!!!!!!!
