Jennifer Garner's Alleged Stalker Committed To Mental Institution

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck will be able to sleep easier at night now after their alleged stalker was sent to a mental institution on Tuesday.

Jane Robison, spokesperson for the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office tells RadarOnline.com, "Steven Richard Burky, pleaded no contest today to two counts of felony stalking. Judge Katherine Mader then found him not guilty by reason of insanity and sentenced him to Patton State Hospital. Deputy District Attorney Wendy Segall said the judge made her ruling based on reports from two psychiatrists who examined Burky."
The judge also issued a 10 year restraining order preventing Burky from getting any closer than 500 yards to Ben, Jennifer or their two children if or when he is released.

I don't think he should be harmed, but I think he's past the garden variety of mental issues - not in need of a simple anti-depressant - he's a kooky stalker - the kind that end up carrying out their violent fantasies.

He's mentally ill! They had him checked out and that was the determination. Why would anyone hurt him for that? I came to say I am glad nobody got hurt. Not Jennifer or the kids or even Ben.
