With both sides clearly trying to make good on promises to bury the hatchet for the sake of their children, Jon and Kate Gosselin are moving on with their lives. Jon recently added his well wishes to Kate's upcoming turn on ABC's Dancing With The Stars.

"He is happy for Kate and supportive of her joining the season of DWTS," his rep told RadarOnline.com.

Kate announced that she will practice on a makeshift dance floor in the basement of her Pennsylvania home. She will commute to Los Angeles once a week for the show's tapings.
The tenth season of Dancing With The Stars begins Monday, March 22 on ABC.

She will have to get a real job eventually. And where is she going to practice when Jon has custody? She is going to have to be in LA a lot more than she is admitting. For one thing, the travel time takes all day.

I'm guessing she'll be in LA, a good three day trek, while Jon has custody. She'd piss less people off if she would just be honest & say, "Jon is taking care of everything at home while I do DWTS, Kimmel, NYC premier etc".

Wow, I'm thankful people can have a dialogue that is civil, but to treat Jon as a good parent to his 8 while Kate works...my goodness, for what he has done to those children w. personal choices of his own. No free pass for him!

Jon Gosselin has a lot of personal issues to solve before he earns back respect. His 8 love him, but were I Kate...I'm not and it's a good thing, for Jon would have some hoops to jump before I'd trust him farther than I could throw him.

Yes and sadly some advice givers here really are only trying to sound civil and intelligent while snidely bashing all Kates decisions. Too obvious for me. It doesn't matter what Kate does or doesn't do, they are here to trash her .

She is not going back to work with them in the tar pits , they might as well get over it. She is making a ton of money in a short period of time in a fun and exciting way ! Good for you Kate !

I agree. We have no idea what he says or does when he's with the kids. He has proven he can't be trusted with their best welfare.
