The reason Corey lived with his mother is because she was battling breast cancer and he wanted to take care of her, several sources confirmed independently to RadarOnline.com.

While Corey battled drugs off and on for years, he was always close to his mom.

And in his final days, it was his mother who was his main concern. She was undergoing chemotherapy.
Corey’s parents were divorced and he previously admitted to not having a close relationship with his father Bernie.
Judy is an Israeili-born data processor who enrolled him in acting lessons in an attempt to help him battle shyness. He previously said he turned to prescription meds to calm him down.

This is so sad, deepest sympathies to his mom, family & friends. Still love watching the Lost Boys, the two Coreys were great. He was doing better; this is going to turn out to be illness related & maybe over-the-counter meds like Brittany Murphy.

This is sad and heartbreaking, but these folks are not really dying from prescription drug overdose, sadly it is stupidity, especially when it is one after the other. When will people learn that THEY are "other people" To others and are NOT exempt.

I am so sorry for the mom to have to be without him now...and so sad that another young person has been destroyed by drugs...How many people have gotten rich from selling this garbage to people? Say no to drugs and some of you stop selling them.
