EXCLUSIVE: Bristol Palin Starts Shooting TV Show, Plus Teen Pregnancy Ads

Bristol Palin is in Los Angeles and is shooting her appearance on The Secret Life of The American Teenager plus two public service announcements about the realities of teen pregnancy, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
She arrived in Los Angeles on Monday with her son Tripp, RadarOnline.com learned.
“She’s on set right now,” her lawyer Thomas Van Flein told RadarOnline.com at approximately 1:15 pm PST. “She’s shooting all day and much of tonight.”
Bristol is in LA with her mom Sarah, who will appear on Jay Leno’s Tonight Show on Tuesday.
The daughter of the former vice presidential candidate recently won a court victory for overdue child support from Levi Johnston. And while in Los Angeles she is shooting two public service announcement about the harsh realities of teen pregnancies, RadarOnline.com learned exclusively.

The ads are sponsored by the Candie’s foundation, a non-profit organization that promotes abstinence and education on teen pregnancy.

Candie’s Web site lists their mission statement as:

Bristol is trying to PREVENT OTHER TEEN GIRLS from becoming pregnant TOO YOUNG. Levi was 18 and Bristol was 17. Levi is guilty of statutory rape in some states.

Bristol got pregnant because her mother never talk you her about birth controll.I course we want our young daughters not to have sex but we have a duty to explain birth controll. I hope her other girls know they have a choice.

If she's trying to prevent other teens from getting pregnant, than she needs to be discussing birth control with them

She's not a hypocrite for admitting her mistake and trying to help others learn the way she had to learn the hard way. What's wrong with that? And yes, it's very brave to give birth to a baby when your 18 years old. No need to be so judgmental.

If she is going around preaching "abstinence only", she's a hypocrite. Her mistake was using "abstinence only" in the first place......she should be going around preaching about birth control. That would make her real

Gee. That's a great message to send out to teens......"abstinence works everytime it is tried" We can just forget about all the times it is not tried. Let's just sweep that under the rug and watch every high school kid get pregnant.
