ESPN beauty Erin Andrews’ peeping Tom was sentenced in a Los Angeles court on Monday to 30 months in jail. As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Michael David Barrett pled guilty to Interstate stalking charges last December, copping a plea deal which landed him considerably shorter a sentence than the maximum recommended one of five years. Barrett must turn himself in to start serving his sentence by May 3rd 2010.

In addition, Barrett was ordered to pay Andrews a fine of $7,366. And to pay authorities a fine of $5,000. He was also ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Andrews and banned from contacting her in any capacity.

Andrews who has branded Barrett a ‘sexual predator’ is also seeking financial restitution to the tune of $335,000, claiming that Barrett’s actions have left her with “emotional scars”.

Both Barrett and Andrews addressed the courtroom. Barrett said, "I take full responsibility for my actions. There are no words to tell Ms Andrews how sorry I am. I hope one day she can forgive me. I love my children more than anything in the world. I have learned from my mistakes. I want to be a positive influence in the world I live in." Barrett's lawyer said he had lost his fiancee, his career and his savings.

Andrews told the court,"I'm having to live this humiliation everyday. It will never be over for me  and I hope it will never be over for him. I fear he is in the closet, I had to hire a lawyer and security. He has shown no remorse, he pleaded guilty because the FBI had boxes full of evidence. I'm asking the court to impose the maximum sentence. He is a sexual predator and deviant, I hope they lock him up and throw away the key," When she was done, she sat next to her lawyer and dabbed a tissue at her eyes.

Although Andrews’ attorneys demanded the clips be taken down, Andrews has said that she has been told by Federal investigators that it is likely that many will never be removed.
