Spring has sprung and it is time to update your makeup bag!  Celeb makeup artist Su Han, who created Jaime Pressly’s fresh and gorgeous look at the Emmy Awards last year, and has made the faces of Audrina Patridge and Angie Harmon, gave RadarOnline.com some exclusive tips on how to wear the trendy Spring color trends.

“It’s time to brighten and liven things up with a little pop of color,” Su suggests.  “Make sure to not overdo it, otherwise you will look like a clown!  Either a pop of color on your eyes or your lips will do the trick.”

Su encourages trying out eye shadow shades like lavender, light green and even bright yellow, followed by two coats of mascara (Smashbox Lash DNA is her favorite) paired with bright, flushed cheeks.

What’s the best blush for your skin color?

“Pink cheeks for skin with blue undertones and orange for olive skin,” the guru maintains. “My favorite blushes are NARS Angelika and Taj Mahal.  If you are on a budget, try Mark Kitten Glo and Sun Love Glo.”

If you are looking for something less daring, Su suggests bypassing the eye shadow and opting for either a coral lip stain or a pink lip gloss.

What winter essentials should you toss?  “Throw away heavy coverage foundation/powder.  They make you look older.  Try Makeup Forever HD Foundation and Powder.  They are airy light and oh so fine!”

Don’t throw your bronzer away.  “Bronzed skin is still it, but keep it very sheer and minimal.”
