Leo DiCaprio's creepy Shutter Island earned the number one spot at the box office this weekend. The Martin Scorsese-directed flick took in a respectable $40.2 million. Second place went to Valentine's Day with $17.1 million but it was a disastrous showing for the all-star ensemble piece. Valentine's Day fell a shocking 69.5 percent from the previous weekend, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Avatar is still flying high. It came in third, pulling in another $16.1 million in ticket sales. Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief came in fourth with $15.3 million. Fifth place went to The Wolfman, also falling almost 69 percent from last weekend and fading fast with just $9.8 million.
The rest of the top 10: Dear John - $7.3 million; Tooth Fairy - $4.5 million; Crazy Heart - $3 million; From Paris with Love - $2.5 million; Edge of Darkness - $2.2 million.

Scorsese has a hard on for DiCaprio. He is okay but please do not have him play Sinatra....Can't Scorsese cast any other leading man? He lacks masculinity and depth as a man. Howard Hughes? That was pathetic, dig deep Marty
