Shar Jackson Says She Packed On The Pounds When K-Fed Left Her For Britney Spears

Actress Shar Jackson had a booming career starring on the hit television sitcom Moesha with Brandy Norwood, but what really catapulted her into the public eye was when the father of her two children, Kevin Federline, abruptly left her in 2004 for pop sensation Britney Spears

Fast forward to 2010 where Kevin and his scorned ex, Shar, are now sharing the small screen on VH1’s Celebrity Fit Club.  Their physical journey to fitness is accented only by the dramatic emotional journey these two will encounter.

“People seem to know me as K-Fed’s baby mama,” Shar shared on Monday night’s premiere episode. “I want somebody to come into my life and not bring up the same thing, ‘How’s Kevin? How’s Britney?’”

Shar admits that while she was used to being in the public eye, the tabloid frenzy that ensued when Kevin left her for Britney was more than she could bear.  The 33-year-old actress holed up in her house, resulting in her significant weight gain.

“This wound is not closed,” Shar emotionally disclosed in reference to her relationship with Kevin.  Shooting for the show ended November 19 and although the results are being kept a secret, K-Fed was photographed Thursday in Los Angeles looking significantly thinner and sources say Shar dropped over 30 pounds.
