Former Growing Pains actor Andrew Koenig has been missing since February 14, and now his parents are asking the public for help in finding their troubled son who was last seen in Canada.

"We still have not heard from Andrew," Judy Koenig tells RadarOnline.com, trying to remain stoic and strong. She also said that she and her husband, former Star Trek star Walter Koenig who played Chekov in the original series, are "satisfied" with the search being conducted by police.

"We began an active investigation on February 18," Constable Tim Fanning of the Vancouver Police Department told RadarOnline.com. "It is an ongoing investigation."

Andrew is "in a depressed state," his father told Entertainment Tonight. Walter said he and his wife Judy had last heard from Andrew, 42, in early February when he was visiting friends in Toronto.  He then went to Vancouver where he was last seen February 14. He didn't show up for his February 16 flight back to L.A.

Andrew appeared in 27 episodes of Growing Pains as Boner over five seasons in the late 1980s but since leaving the popular sitcom, acting jobs have been rare. He had a small role in 2008's InAlienable, which his father wrote and starred in.

Recently he has also been working as a cameraman for Never Not Funny, a comedy podcast.

The Koenigs are asking anyone with information about Andrew contact the Vancouver PD at 604-717-2534.

Andrew, you brought a lot of joy into a lot of people's lives with the character you played! I just want to thank you for making my afternoons bearable as a kid. I really hope you are ok. We love you!

Not sure if he has drug problems but if he's in Vancouver, there is an area called the Downtown Eastside. It is a notoriously bad area for drug use, prostitution etc.

People that have lost their way often go down there and get lost in the mix of people .. intentionally and some meet a rather unfortunate demise. My prayers to his family.

No matter how old they are, they never stop being your kids. I am wishing all the best for the Koenig family and hope their son is found safe and sound.

This is very sad. I hope they find him and that's he's well. No parent should have to go through this kind of anguish.
