Prince William has a penchant for walking in another person's shoes.

The royal, who spent a night in December on the cold streets of London to experience homelessness, recently gave up one of his senses to better empathize with service men and women in Wales.

He allowed himself to be blindfolded to simulate what it would be like to lose his vision. He participated in an archery lesson as well to further engross himself in the challenges facing the blind.

The exercise was part of his visit to St. Dunstan's, which is a specialist center for blind ex-members of the armed forces.

As his mother stated...she planted the seed and it took Charles & Camillia to keep watering it, for it to flourish. As angry as I was at C&C, they certainly rose to the occasion......what a great role model he is.

He's a good, decent young man. His mother would have been so proud and Charles should be too. He's done a good job and I'm sure Camilla had a hand in it too. But, Diana started early teaching about the less fortunate. Charles learned when Di died.
