Simon Cowell is a man of good taste. Not only did he decide to ask the lovely Mezhgan Hussainy to be his bride, he gave her a classically elegant engagement ring.

RadarOnline.com was the first to reveal the American Idol judge's engagement. Mezhgan told RadarOnline.com last week that indeed the couple is getting married.

Mezhgan is the head make-up artist on American Idol, and a favorite among everyone who works on the show. Simon and she began dating last spring and he flew her to London in October to attend his 50th birthday bash in London.

I'm wondering if the bling.bling costed as much as Simon amazing birthday party??I'm not sure ,but I though Simon was gay.. My though worthless I am glad to read he engaged....

The ring looks rather small and is not "stunning" at all. But then, I prefer big jewelry.
