EXCLUSIVE: Tiger Woods Asks Wife To Change Her Mind, Attend Televised Apology

Tiger Woods is making a last-minute all-out plea to his wife Elin, hoping she will change her mind and join him on Friday when he makes his televised statement.
RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively that on Wednesday Tiger and Elin had dinner alone – for the second night in a row.

They are still living in separate homes.
After dinner, Elin let their son Charlie spend the night at Tiger’s house, a source close to the couple told RadarOnline.com.

Tiger is scheduled to speak to a “small group of friends, colleagues and close associates” on Friday and apologize for his behavior, according to his rep. Tiger’s remarks will be televised. It will be his first public statement since going into rehab in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
As RadarOnline.com reported earlier, Elin told Tiger she will not attend his televised apology.

Now we’ve learned that Tiger is making a last-ditch attempt to get her to change her mind.
“There has been non-stop strategy sessions at the house between Tiger and his people,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “And from an image standpoint everyone feels it would be much better for Elin to be there. After all, he’s apologizing for his behavior. People are going to be a lot more receptive to his apology if they see his wife has accepted his apology.”

And while the ice between Tiger and Elin has thawed somewhat, she is still not wearing her wedding ring. Her twin sister Josefin is in town and Elin has been leaning on her heavily for advice, a source told RadarOnline.com.

“Tiger is going to keep up the pressure on Elin to attend this event until the last minute,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “Right now, she’s still saying no. Could she change her mind? Yes. But she’s not the type of woman to be used as a prop so he’s got a difficult task ahead in getting her to go.”

Tiger has used Elin throughout their marriage, he gave the illusion of a happy married man so he could get sponsors. Today he wants to give the same illusion by having Elin stand by him, to show everyone that if she could forgive, we should also.

I have had it with this tart, she either pisses or gets off the pot, she is obviously going to stay as the money is too big a lure, so she has to put her shoulder to the wheel and choke it down.

I think it's pretty brazen of him to ask Elin to be there just so the world can see her because it's good "strategy." He should insist that she do whatever is most comfortable for her and if staying away is her choice, let it go.
