EXCLUSIVE: Police Believe Missing Growing Pains Star Is Alive

Missing Growing Pains star Andrew Koenig is believed to still be alive in the Vancouver area according to the Vancouver Police Department. In an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, Constable Tim Fanning revealed the good news about the actor.

“Electronic information leads us to believe that Andrew is still in the Vancouver area,” Fanning said. He added that the police tracked his ATM card and his phone usage. “We think Andrew is just lying low in Vancouver.”
There have been multiple sightings of Andrew in Vancouver, leading police to feel, “hopeful that he is still alive.”
Constable Fanning said that they have spoken to friends and family members of Koenig’s who said, “Andrew has been despondent and is going through a tough time.
"His family is very concerned.”

Andrew’s parents reported him missing on February 18 after he failed to meet friends and take a flight to Los Angeles. “The evidence we have leads us to the fact that he is still in the Vancouver area. We are rehashing the evidence to see if there is anything we have missed.”
The Vancouver police is not currently offering any rewards in regards to Koenig's disappearance. “There is no reward offered because it doesn’t fit into these circumstances,” Constable Fanning said.
“We are looking to find Andrew safe and sound.”

What hopeful news! I would think that if they have info by way of his cell phone that they can see who he called or who called him and can maybe get some more info by talking to those people. He's too young to give up. Let's pray he'll be ok.

I am happy for his friends and family but how rude of him not to phone his family to let them know that he's alive. Starting to think this is a publicity stunt.
