EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Young Guys Are Checking Out Kate Gosselin, Says Her Hairdresser

Kate Gosselin has come a long way since she first burst on to our TV screens back in 2005 on a special aired on Discovery entitled Surviving Sextuplets and Twins.
Since then, the mom of eight has survived a bitter divorce, written three books, hosted TV shows and undergone an amazing makeover – so amazing in fact that the once homely mom is now a certified head turner – even garnering the attention of hot young guys!

Not that she notices, according to Kate’s hairdresser and close friend, hair stylist Ted Gibson, who owns salons in New York and Washington DC.
“From being out with her she is getting much more attention with her new long hair,” Ted tells RadarOnline.com. “She is a gorgeous woman, she has a great body, a great personality and great hair and I think she looks amazing. Guys who are young are going after her. When we were out guys were checking her out. She doesn’t pay any attention to the guys though. Kate is really just concentrating on who she is and the kids.”
Kate received a lot of attention for her previous haircut – both good and bad – so what made her change it up and go from short to long?

“It just kind of made sense that we would change it up a little bit and she was ready for it,” Ted explains. “She has been happy from day one with her hair. Any time a woman changes her hair it takes a few days to adjust to it. By changing her hair it was an adjustment to deal with but she loved it from the beginning. She did not hate her hair.”
And most importantly to the devoted mom, “Her kids love her hair,” Ted says. “Kate is able to do different things with her hair, now she has versatility.”
And shattering the impression that many got of Kate from watching her hit show Jon and Kate Plus 8, Ted says of his friend, “I text and email her all the time, she is not full of herself, she is down to earth, she is funny. She’s a remarkable woman, she loves beauty and always takes care with her hair and makeup and clothes.
“She has more confidence now with the new hair cut and color and extensions.”

According to Ted we can expect to see more transformations as Kate continues to grow and increase her self confidence, “She’s coming back in every month to the salon, and we’re going to make sure we keep the extensions healthy, put new ones in, re-touch the color. You’ll see another new hairstyle next month.”
Kate, it appears, really is moving on with her life in the wake of her divorce, getting over ex-husband Jon, yet concentrating first and foremost on her children. ““She never really mentions Jon, she talks about the kids more than Jon. She doesn’t really talk about him at all. She talks about kids. I’m glad to be a part of the re-creation of Kate Gosselin and this has been a tough time in her life, but I’m glad I can help her feel better about her life.”

When it comes to Kate’s new show that is being produced by TLC, it seems the single mom is keeping mum, not even sharing details with her close friends, “I don’t know if I’m going to be in the new show,” Ted says. “ I don’t know what the show is going to be about, she doesn’t talk about it at all. She’s very excited about the new book though because it is all about her kids.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported Kate is set to release a new personal book, dedicated to her kids, on April 13th, titled I Just Want You To Know: Letters To My Kids On Love, Faith And Family. Her two previous books, Multiple Blessings and Eight Little Faces both made it onto the New York Times bestsellers list.
Seems life is just getting better and better for Kate Gosselin in her new role as a certifiable hottie and a working single mom!

The RWA Blog posted an article where they claim Kate called Jon stubby because of his tiny tool. So they are saying that Kate said things to family members and such like Hailey did, but I don't believe the article or the RWA biddies.

I don't believe that Kate would say this. The hate blogs will say anything for attention. Kate could have said many things about Jon,but has chosen the high road.

I agree mags, she is not going to start saying anything, she has been very quiet on the entire situation, why now and she also is not going to breach her contract to put things like this out in the tabloids, Jon does this, but Kate doesn't.
