EXCLUSIVE: Gretchen Rossi's Boyfriend Slade Smiley Listed As Deadbeat Dad

Real Housewives of Orange County siren Gretchen Rossi is back on the defensive, this time on behalf of her boyfriend Slade Smiley who was listed on a deadbeat dad website for failing to pay child support.

The website says Slade owes $84,963. Rossi defended him on her website saying that the amount of child support he has to pay each month is "extremely large" and based on an income he made four years ago. "His income is no where near what it used to be," she said. She also mentioned that Slade's son Grayson has had more the $3 million in medical procedures since he is battling brain cancer- payments Rossi alleges Slade is making. "He chose the medical bills."

As Rossi stated, Slade has appealed to lower the amount of his child support so he does not show a deficiency.
RadarOnline.com exclusively obtained those papers which highlight Smiley's dire financial situation.
Slade revealed that as of May 2008, his income was reduced to zero and he owes $104,000 to the IRS. He says his TV series gig, which began in June 2008, paid him a measly $172 a week. He has since been forced to close his bank account and has not received any income in over a year. He lost his car in April 2009 after his family had to stop lending him money and is currently living with Rossi as he looks for work.
"I have been left indigent and financially destitute," he said in the papers. Other papers reveal that Slade's son spends 1% of his time with Slade and 99% of his time with his mother.

I think she is in a tough spot and I wish her luck and the patience to endure its relationship and let it end soon. I wish people who are fortunate enough to be rich smartly manage their money, he does sound like an absent unloving father.

What a stupid Bit*h! Like he has a choice to SUPPORT HIS CHILD! IF he was still with the kid's mom does she think he could just say "well I guess I don't have to feed him this week b/c I paid his Dr. bill."

If Gretchen cares so much about cancer why on earth do we not see her spending time with Slade's son.? Come on Gretchen! You cried on the RHOC last night because Briana may have cancer. You were sooo dedicated to Jeff! What about Slade's son?
