EXCLUSIVE: Crack Addiction Drove Charlie Sheen's Wife Brooke Mueller Into Rehab

Charlie Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller is in rehab for crack addiction, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
“Brooke has been in denial about her problem for a long time,” one source close to her told RadarOnline.com.

Brooke checked into rehab last week. She has both an alcohol and a crack addiction problem, and has been treated for both in the past, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.
“Her mother has been attempting to convince her to go into rehab for a while now,” the source told RadarOnline.com.

And, in fact, when Brooke and her mother recently went to North Carolina, it was rehab for Brooke, contrary to her lawyer’s public statements.
She left North Carolina for Charlie’s court appearance in Colorado and then returned to Los Angeles.

“She went on an all-nighter,” the source said. “She was just out of control.”
Brooke has been boozing heavily and smoking crack for months, according to the source. She was drunk at 8:30 am Christmas when she called 911 and told cops that Charlie held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her.

“They partied that night,” the source said. “She didn’t stop.”
RadarOnline.com reported previously that Brooke was treated for crack addiction around 2001 as an inpatient in a Los Angeles facility.

“She had a bad problem even back then,” one person who knows her said. “She would leave the facility, score drugs, get beat up and wind up in the hospital.”
And the source who is close to her now told RadarOnline.com: “She’s smoking crack and she’s drinking heavily. Everyone around her wanted her to get help.”

Boycott watching Sheen's tv program and the sponsors. Brooke has her own issues to deal with and it should be dealt with privately not as a misinformation tactic by Sheen's pr people.

When are you fans going to stop supporting self indulgent , spoiled rich men who can't have their way?If any other normal person had broken the law by willfully shoting another human being they would have been convicted of attempted murder.

Just because Charlie is like as an actor doesn't make him a good man. Some of you people want to blame his wife. Charlie tried to strangle his wife. He had a knife. He ran. What can I say?

Yet again another attemp at trying to make Charlie out to be a good guy. Charlei shot his ex-fiance who is now married to John Travalota is that ok. Charlie has been in rehab too. Why is that ok? Charlie tried to hurt his wife Is that ok?

This is a quid pro quo deal cooked up by Sheen, to get off the hook for the 8 year PRISON sentence he's facing for felony MENACING, one of many domestic violence incidents involving him.

Brooke seems to be more out of control then Charlie. Charlie takes the fall but sounds like Brooke is the problem. Maybe he should un-load her and make the best for his kids w/out her. Don't think she is a good influnence for kids.

The whole situation is sad, I hope both parents can get their acts together and then put the twins welfare first. Otherwise its going to be another tragic Hollywood story when these boys hit their teens and early 20's....

Charlie's PR reps do a fine job destroying EVERY lady that reports his bad and dangerous behavior. Kelly Preston, whom Charlie SHOT with a gun, testified that it was an accident so Charlie's PR reps did not bash her. Was it an accident???
