Dancing With The Stars Finalist Warren Sapp Arrested On Domestic Battery Charges

Former NFL star and season seven Dancing With The Stars runner-up Warren Sapp was arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery in Miami Beach on Saturday.

The incident involving Sapp and his girlfriend occurred at the Shore Club Hotel at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Sapp, a former Super Bowl champion with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and a defensive star for the Oakland Raiders teamed with pro dancer Kym Johnson on DWTS.

Miami is the site of Super Bowl XLIV this Sunday and Sapp was in town to cover the game for the NFL Network.
Sapp has been taken off the air and won't be part of Sunday's Super Bowl coverage, a network spokesperson tells RadarOnline.com.
Police said in a statement that Sapp has been charged with one count of misdemeanor domestic battery.
Sapp was brought in by Miami Beach police for questioning Saturday afternoon.

While on Dancing with the Stars he was just barely tolerated. Heard he had the grossest body odor and was not at all like the bumbling giant he protrayed. He was mean spirited and a bully. Fire him for good!

First of all, Warren is a diva. Second of all he has a really, really bad temper. I've seen him get physically aggressive and threatening with guys but never women - up to now. I hope they fully prosecute.
