IN THE CLOSET: Fashion Critic Melissa Rivers Shares Style Secrets

Melissa Rivers, who spent years ruthlessly critiquing A-list celebs on the red carpet for their couture choices, has finally opened up her closet for assessment! RadarOnline.com’s Griffin Matthews took a coveted tour of Melissa’s palatial and impeccably organized closet, and the fashion guru dished on all of her style secrets.

Melissa walks Griffin through the color coded racks of Chanel, Valentino, Alexander McQueen and Old Navy, which are divided into “real” and “fake” life sections.

Putting her brand new-looking Christian Louboutin, Miu Miu and Manolo Blahnik’s in Lucite boxes to protect them, she gives some “Red Carpet Ready” advice: “Take good care of things and they are gonna take care of you!”

Pointing to a fab vintage Chanel cocktail dress, she explains the versatility of the sophisticated staple.

“This could be for anything, but,” Melissa stops herself short, thinking about her famously glamorous red carpet co-host. “Well, maybe if you’re my mom you could wear this to breakfast!”

Melissa shows off a chic pair of Alexander McQueen booties, exclaiming, “I didn’t know if I was cool enough to rock these, but I did.”
