EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Brittany Murphy's Dad Not Invited To Her Funeral

His sadness at his daughter’s death prevented Angelo from wanting to attend a funeral even if he was invited.  “I just don’t want to see that happen, I just want to remember her alive,” he told RadarOnline.com

He did say that he will visit her grave. “I’ll wait about a month to go out there,” he said.  However, when he tried to visit her on Monday he was denied access to the grave.

EXCLUSIVE: Brittany Murphy Friend Says Foundation Will Be Back

Brittany’s husband Simon Monjack and her mother Sharon gave Forest Lawn a list approved visitors and Angelo was turned away by security at the gates. According to RumorRat he was eventually given directions to his daughter’s final resting place.

Huh? I've been to her grave a few times and it's in no way secluded or guarded. Nobody is even around it's so far on the hill. You don't have to stop at the gates out front either, I just drive through.

Wow, that was really a cold hearted thing to do! What harm could possible come from letting an aging parent visit their child's grave?

mlw0603 this is a NEW story. The old story was about the funeral. This is about 84 year old Angelo being turned away from her GRAVE yesterday.
Shame on SIMON and SHARON. Father cannot see his daughter's GRAVE? Fans are escorted out?

That is a dirty rotten sin Brittanys father is an elderly man of something like 80 & that is just plain wrong. Naturally the mother made him out as the bad guy & who really knows the truth! That is his daughter no matter what! shame on you Sharon!

This is yet another thing that Sharon Murphy and Frankenstein Monjack will live to regret. They have no right to block her father from paying his respects. I have no sympathy for the two of them. They are opportunists.

Wow that's really a shame. Her dad may not have been the best parent, but he did not push to come to her funeral; he shouldn't be banned from her grave-site.
