BREAKING NEWS: Charlie Sheen Enters Rehab

After months of refusing to address his relapse into boozing, Charlie Sheen has entered rehab his publicist said.
RadarOnline.com reported just days ago that people close to Charlie have been urging him to enter rehab and he was refusing. At that time his people denied that anyone was urging him to go in.
EXCLUSIVE: Charlie Sheen Told 'Go To Rehab'
His publicist Stan Rosenfeld released this statement Tuesday:
“As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility. He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men. He has asked that his privacy be honored. No further statements are planned. “

Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller is also in rehab.
Sheen and Mueller were both boozing before she called police at 8:34 am Christmas and said he held a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her. They both had alcohol in their bodies but Sheen has refused to admit he had a problem.

Mueller and Sheen had been out the night before and Sheen had a “sober coach” with him when he started drinking! The reason he had a sober coach, RadarOnline.com learned exclusively, is that he had already relapsed into boozing and family and friends had confronted him.
When RadarOnline.com reported on February 17 that Charlie was being told to go to rehab by people close to him Team Sheen loudly denied it, even stating: “He is not going to rehab.”

But those denials were issued simply because Charlie was in denial, a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. “He wouldn’t go into rehab even though it was obvious he needed to,” the source said.
Team Sheen also has to be very careful because an order by the Colorado judge overseeing Charlie’s domestic violence case prohibits him from drinking alcohol.

But, Charlie has been boozing for months, RadarOnline.com has learned. And the night before Brooke went into rehab he was with her while she partied.

Let me get this straight - team Sheen issued a denial because Charlie was in denial? What's that, double denial or something? Seriously, isn't it best to tell the addict the truth? Yeah, and the rest of the world too, so Charlie couldn't BS anyone?

How ironic that he would be in rehab for acohol when his show Three and a Half Men was making fun of his drinking in one of their episodes last night.

GEE, KINDA SAD IS TAKES A JUDGE AND A FELONY COUNT TO GET YOU TO REALIZE YOU HAVE A PROBLEM..WELL, NOT TO MENTION BEATING AND STRANGLING YOUR WIFE AND THREATENING TO KILL HER. OH NOOOO, THAT ISN'T REASON ENOUGH! JERK!

But drug and alcohol abusers usually DO have to hit rock bottom in order to admit the problem - and rock bottom really is rock bottom. And they don't think of how they've hurt others when they're abusing.

How sad that this family has an addiction and must go thru sobriety in the public eye! Good luck Charlie...I know how hard sobriety is and I am far from famous...it must be 1000 x's worse for u!
