Angelina Jolie met with Haitian earthquake survivors Tuesday at the SOS Children's Village just outside Port-au-Prince and spent extra time chatting with the young victims of the natural disaster.

Jolie, who is a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations, was given a standing ovation by locals, who chanted her name.

She later met with officials from the United Nations in Port-au-Prince.

On Wednesday, Jolie was slated to visit a camp for homeless Haitians in Jacmel and a Save the Children relief supply center.

I think it's great that she uses her celebrity for good rather than letting it all to go her head. At least she's not walking around with bottled water in her hand promoting "Smart Water"

I think it's great an American is into resensitization as they all should but what's she doing there? Just gracing people by her prescence? Seems like they're a little busy to be diddling with movie stars.
