Angelina Jolie Tours Hospital In Haiti

UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie landed in Haiti Tuesday and headed to a Doctors Without Borders Hospital in the Delmas neighborhood of the Haitian capital Port-au-Prince.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported Jolie was in the Dominican Republic Monday, visiting with Haitian children that are in the neighboring country to receive medical treatment following the devastating 7.0 earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12th, killing more than 200,000 people.

Jolie also took time to meet with the President of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernandez at the presidential National Palace.

Angelina takes her role as Goodwill Ambassador seriously, and never lets the threat of danger or disease get in the way of her duties. She has previously visited other war torn and disaster damaged countries with the UNHCR to raise awareness of the plight of the world's refugees, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Sudan.

Angelina also isn't afraid to put her money where her mouth is, she, along with partner Brad Pitt, was one of the first in Hollywood to rush to the aid of Haiti, following news of the massive quake, donating $1 million to assist in rescue efforts.

all of these tabloids had jolie and brad on their cover saying brad still loves jen and that he will break up with jolie..I hope not!!whats the story there? hope he isnt going back to that selfish one-note actor ..its all over the tabloids?!

i hope there isnt any truth to this but the tabs are hitting them really hard these days. they are constantly saying that jolie-pitt are separated and just pretending for the public for the sake of the kids...hope not!

When are these rich and famous going to start helping their OWN. As in the USA. always getting pats on the back for helping other countries. Step up and help your own. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

OMG do you know how much is funneled into US to help our own pple? jolie and brad are at least trying to help those less fortunate who are not able to help themselves. US has many of its own that help its own including jolie so do your homework!

Thank you from taking the time out of your life and raising awareness, including the 20+ trips to Congress. You walk the walk. Good luck on your lawsuit, you should sue all of them...including individuals. Start w/Halperin...sucked enuf from stars.

BTW if she does get PR out of it...so what? An aid agency and desperate situations get attention and those in dire situations who need help have a better chance of getting it. Win, win, win. And the problem is?
