Miss Virginia has won the 2010 Miss America crown after belting out Beyonce's 'Listen' from the movie 'Dreamgirls' and encouraging kids to get outside more often.

In other news, Kathryn Bigelow won the DGA award last night as best director for the film The Hurt Locker--the first women EVER to win the award. And she didn't even have to prance around in a swimsuit or model an evening gown.

Um there have been about 4 or 5 Miss Americas who have been black. Has nothing to do with Obama.

I was pleasantly surprised how fast the show went and how talented the women were. They all could have won. Miss Virginia was so tiny and beautiful.
