Susan Boyle’s music producer brother Gerry Boyle has blasted her management team for a ‘severe’ lack of security surrounding his famous sister after an intruder broke into her Scottish home.
The singing sensation had just returned home Tuesday night from recording a charity record for Haiti quake survivors when she found a young man inside her home in Blackburn, West Lothian.

Boyle was said to be ‘very distressed’ after the intruder ran past her as she entered her modest home.
Speaking from Scotland, her brother Gerry exclusively told told Radar Online.com: “My Brother John visited Susan and she was pretty shaken-up but she will be okay – hopefully this will be a wake-up call to her management team.

“She must be the only singing superstar in the entire world where people can walk-up their path and knock on their door.
“I’m sure Simon Cowell would not be happy if he knew about the current security situation surrounding my sister.

“The management team must take more responsibility about protecting Susan and our family is very concerned.”
Since becoming famous Boyle, 48, has remained at her modest $130,000 home in the small town of Blackburn but her notoriety has meant that the address has now become too well known.
It is not the first time the performer has had a security scare at the house; she discovered two teenagers standing in her back garden with their faces pressed against her kitchen window on Christmas Day.
The fragile singer still loves the home but her relatives have been trying to persuade her to move into a much more secure property.
Gerry Boyle added: “We have been telling Susan for weeks that she needs to find somewhere else to live that is much more secure; she doesn’t even have to sell her current house.
“The family would have much more peace of mind if she was living at a different location at this point in her career.
“But it’s time that the people surrounding my sister stepped-up and made sure she is properly protected at all times.”
Police detained a man in connection with the incident on Tuesday night but he was later released after being questioned.
A spokesman said: “Lothian and Borders police were called to an address in Blackburn at around 9.50pm Tuesday following reports of a disturbance.
“A man was detained in connection with the incident and released pending further inquiries.”
Entrepreneur Gerry Boyle is preparing to open a new recording studio and music venue in Scotland soon which he hopes his famous sister and other US stars will perform at. For more details visit the site aninstantworld.com.

Unfortunatley? the women became a icon without even looking for the massive result of whats happened to her life. Naive, yes. Somebody should be ontop of this situation? I feel bad for her.

Do the right thing and protect Susan! She deserves that! None of her staff would tolerate these incidents on their own property, so they should give her the same consideration. Understandably, she wouldn't want to move tho!
