Suleman Octuplets Celebrate Low-Key First Birthday

Nadya "Octo-Mom" Suleman and her family spent a quiet Tuesday at their La Habra, California home, where the clan celebrated the first birthday for the six boys and two girls Suleman delivered one year ago.

The octuplets, all clad in "Happy Birthday" shirts, each had their own cake, while Nadya, her other six kids and nannies on hand dug into a big cake to celebrate the family’s landmark day.

There was no entertainment on hand, but that didn't get Nadya down, as she told us: "We're gonna be OK... a lot of families are having a tough time."

WIC, food stamps, medi-cal..all tax free plus the private donations being sent to her home after giving out her address for people to send $$ to her. As a CA taxpayer who works to support her kids, I have no sympathy.

excercise equipment, work out clothes, hair dye, etc. And we are to sympathize?? Wonder if shes still receiving Workmans Comp while shes lifting weight for her new excercise dvd shes making...SSI for the kids (at min three kids),

She's got the money, she just prefers to spend it on Starbucks, plastic surgery and manicures for herself. Jeffy has her out fishing for more donations because her mortgage balloon comes due on March.

those kid are beautiful. If you're having a tough time Nadya since you have nanies, GET A JOB then there is no excuse to throw out there that you're having a tough time. You don't know what tough times are lady
