REPORT: Tiger Woods Paying Wife $300 Million

Elin Nordegren got a Christmas present for the ages. According to a report in London's News of the World newspaper, the estranged wife of Tiger Woods has told friends the golfer offered her half his fortune!

"Three hundred million dollars, thank you very much," is what a source told the newspaper Elin said when asked about what Tiger had given her.
The former model reportedly spent Christmas with her children at a California ski resort where she stayed until taking off for the French Alps. That's where she rang in the new year with her sister and friends and also celebrated her 30th birthday.
She seemed determined to put as much space as possible between herself and Tiger's countless affairs.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Elin appeared "in great spirits" at her birthday celebration at Le Munchie restaurant.

Tiger, on the other hand, is going through tremendous turmoil, another source told the paper. He has cut himself off from many of his advisers and may not return to professional golf until 2012.

If he did offer her 1/2 of everything, its only so she doesn't speak about their marriage and divorce.. dude had an iron clad pre-nup that wasn't very generous!!!! give 1/2 and be done with it

Looks like you should never get married. Immature. Having someone have your back and a family are priceless and contribute to success in most cases. Many spouses are grateful and hence share with their PARTNERS.

Marriage makes A LOT of people miserable. Over 50 percent of all marriages end in divorce, and a lot more, maybe half of that, are only living together because they can't afford to divorce.
