Katy Perry and Russell Brand are engaged.

According to UsWeekly, a pal says that the British comedian proposed five days ago while the two were on vacation.
They have been in India where Perry has been tweeting pictures of their trip. So far she’s snapped a monkey, cow, her getting a henna tattoo, and a cute picture of her and Brand in front of the Taj Mahal.

“He built this for me,” Perry joked sweetly.
It’s been a whirlwind romance for the seemingly unlikely duo who began dating in September.
She recently took a trip with him to her native England where they watched a play with one of his pal’s, went sledding, and caught a soccer game.
