Awards season has officially begun.

Hollywood's heaviest hitters descended on Palm Springs, Calif., on Tuesday to begin the annual months-long fete of 2009's best movies and actors at the 2010 Palm Springs International Film Festival.
The opening night gala, held at the Palm Springs Convention Center, drew a crowd filled with Oscar hopefuls.
Up in the Air's newbie Anna Kendrick shared the red carpet with film veterans and legends including Morgan Freeman, Jeff Bridges, Clint Eastwood and Helen Mirren.
Also enjoying her moment? Mariah Carey who co-starred in Precious.

It's good that Mariah is "normal" size, but her clothes should be too.....she looks stupid and lumpy squeezed into her clothes.
