While she has made a career from rocking revealing outfits at awards shows, Britney Spears made a mesh-looking misstep on Sunday at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.

While the name on the tag screamed high fashion (i.e. Dolce & Gabbana), the black, long-sleeved lace dress over a black bodysuit was both tacky and wacky.

Despite the odd, high-profile blunder (and the loss to Lady Gaga in the Best Dance Recording Category) the pop star managed to be in high spirits.
"On my way to the Grammys," Spears Twittered before the show. "Can't wait to see all the performances!"

It looks like a leotard with skeeter netting overtop it. Freaking ugly. I don't care if D &G designed it. Big woop.

P.S. At least her hair is clean and face is made up.

I couldn't care less what she wears. Love her music, and I respect what she has gone through in the last two years. I'd like to turn on a webcam on some of these posters. I bet these are housewives in their ratty old bathrobes.

Fix yourself up Britney! You look like the desperate ugly chick we all see at the local nightclub- fat, frumpy, bad hair and makeup, trashy getup, but still thinks she looks good!

The top half is cute, the bottom half looks like a diaper. Oh, well!

She should fire everyone who made her wear this outfit. Knowing Britt, she probably loved it. Yuk

Britney Spears, even with millions of dollars, will ALWAYS BE nothing but a cheap trailer-trash hook*r. It's like she looks for the most disgusting thing to wear in public. What a bore.
