It’s the ugly truth -- hunky Gerard Butler does have a softer side!
The 40-year-old screen star was snapped Sunday on a Barbados beach, his physique looking noticeably chunkier than the chiseled Spartan he portrayed in his 2007 mega-hit, 300.

The Scottish native, sans six-pack, looked pale and paunchy in his pink shorts, as he cavorted with an exotic dark-haired beauty and pals on the Caribbean island.
Butler's next film, The Bounty Hunter, hits theaters March 19.

It's probably a roll...oops, I mean for a role. Maybe he wants to play Jon Gosselin! lol Hey, once in a while people let themselves go. You can tell he's still only about a month's worth of workouts from a kick butt body again.

a little tummy flub, otherwise he is HAWT! not as much flab as Ima carrying though. I'm so fat I have my own zipcode kinda fat if you hear what Ima sayin!
