One year ago today, on January 26, 2009, Nadya Suleman, an eccentric single mom in Southern California, gave birth to eight babies --and faster than you could say, "where's the diapers?" --Octo-Mom was born!!!

So how did it all start? Nadya was only prepared for seven babies, and when she entered the hospital she asked a friend to videotape the births for her own personal memories. Nadya tells the camera she's in pain and the doctors begin delivering the babies, one-by-one.
As each infant is removed, the nurses keep track of them by calling them letter of the alphabet. "Baby A is out," one nurse says. "Baby B is here," and one baby is heard crying in the background.

The delivery room is a chaotic scene. There are five doctors and nurses immediately surrounding Nadya and more in the room taking care of the babies.
The first four babies - Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, and Nariyah are delivered quickly and safely, but shocking news is about to be delivered to Nadya!

She must have sold the video to a media outlet for the money. Long about now she's really broke. Californians paid millions for her hospital bill to have them. I want it back.

it is really sick to see a mother use her kids to make money .i feel for those kids and there future its not going to be easy with a mother like that she is clearly wacked and a big fat liar she needs to tend to her kids and there needs .

The risk posed to those infants and their psychotic, selfish mother by that individual being there (CONTAMINATION???@!*!) in the way of medical professionals is unconscionable!! Disgusting!!

Totally agree. Have friends who did this (single births) The dad took the videos. I refused to watch.

What good mother would risk the health of herself and her children during such a critical time to make $$'s? Why release this now? . . . $'s!! It's quite clear what her motivation is!!
